About the tour

Captain... Your host and boss on the boat is of course your experienced and knowledgeable captain. He knows all the bays, shoals and depths like the back of his hand. He is responsible for your safety and is very careful in doing so. The program may change according to weather conditions. Please respect his decisions.

Cook and deckhand... Don't think that you are going on an ocean cruise on a cruise ship; we offer a more humble and friendly environment. Your chef will prepare delicious meals for you with his skillful hands in his small kitchen. Your deckhand will help the cook, the captain and with cleaning. It is not his job to make the beds. A small tip that you feel appropriate at the end of the trip will be appreciated by the crew.

The boat... Pinewood motor sails are inspired by old Ottoman Turkish coastal boats. All cabins have a double bed, a small closet and storage space under the bed. Linen and one towel per person are available. The cabins are for sleeping only. Real life happens on deck.

This is the real vacation... The real vacation is swimming with the fishes in a sparkling bay. On the boat, the days pass very quickly... If there is no excursion program in the itinerary for that day, the blue cruise offers you many opportunities to spend a great day. The early morning hours are ideal times for fishing. With a mask, snorkel and fins you can explore the underwater world. If you want, you can take a trip on the rowing boat or go ashore and explore nature. The bays where the boat anchors offer wonderful panoramic views for taking photos.

The main purpose of the blue cruise is rest and relaxation. Remember that sports, entertainment and other activities are just the thing if you get bored...

DAY 1 : Fethiye to St. Nicholas Island

We will leave Fethiye harbour around 11 to 11.45 am and head to Butterfly Valley for swimming, lunch and an optional hike up to the waterfall. We will also visit Oludinez beach- Europe's most stunning beach. You have the option to paraglide in one of the best spots in the world here. We will anchor at St. Nicholas Island for the night where you can walk up through the island's ruins and witness the spectacular sunset.

DAY 2 : St Nicholas Island to Kas

Today we cruise to Kalkan (Aquarium Bay) for breakfast & swimming and then to Kas harbour for lunch. You will have time to explore this small Turkish town and its handmade jewellery stores. We will spend the night in one of the secluded bays between Kas and Kekova.

DAY 3 : Kas to Gokkoya Bay

Discover the Sunken City, cruising over the ancient ruins of this World Heritage site. You will cruise to Simena Castle where you can walk up to the top and witness a magical view over the bay, taking in the underwater Lycian Tombs and the Sunken City. You will spend the night in Gokkoya Bay. Tonight you can party at the nearby island disco of Smuggler's Inn. Meet up with other travellers for a night of dancing under the starts. A free boat service will pick you up and runs regularly all night. If you don't want to party, simply relax and chill out on the yacht. (Please note that Smuggler's may not always be open, please check with your captain if you wish to go)

DAY 4 : Gokkoya Bay

After breakfast you will head to Pirates Cave (or another nearby bay) for snorkelling and swimming. You will cruise to Simena Castle where you can walk up to the top and witness a magical view over the bay. Tonight you can party at Smuggler's Inn again or relax. You will spend the night north of Gokkaya Bay.

DAY 5 : Gokkoya Bay to Liman Agzi or Firnaz Bay

Breakfast will be served at Yaglica Bay (or nearby) where you can enjoy some swimming. You will cruise to Kas Harbour for lunch and have time to explore and enjoy the great shopping. You will cruise to Liman Agzi or Firnaz Bay for dinner and stay for the night.

DAY 6 : Firnaz Bay or Liman Agzi to St Nicholas Island

In the morning we will cruise north and you will wake to the beautiful views of Butterfly Valley. After breakfast there is time for sunbaking, swimming and an optional hike up to the waterfall. Experience Oludinez- Europe's most stunning beach. Swim to the beach or paraglide to take in the amazing views. We will anchor at St. Nicholas Island for the night. You can take a walk through the island ruins to witness the spectacular sunset.

DAY 7 : St Nicholas Island to Fethiye

In the morning we will cruise to Tarzan's Bay for breakfast, the rope jump and then to Samanlik Bay for swimming and lunch. We will arrive at Fethiye Harbour after lunch.

DAY 8 : Separation and difficult Goodbye TRANSFER DAY

After the breakfast you might be packing up your luggages, exchanging e-mails with yacht charter crew and maybe the most difficult part is to say goodbye, who knows the world is small and it would be great to return to Turkey for another awesome holiday with abordayachting.
